Mr. M. Azfar Ahsan, Minister of State & Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) called on the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi at Presidency and briefed the President on initiatives taken by (BOI) to enhance and facilitate investment in Pakistan on Tuesday, the 30th November, 2021. 

Mr. M. Azfar Ahsan, Minister of State & Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) & the Ambassador of Pakistan in China H.E. Moin-ul-Haque met online for exchanging views on Chinese Investment & Industrial Cooperation under CPEC in Pakistan on Tuesday, the 30th November, 2021. The Secretary, BOI, Ms. Fareena Mazhar, the Project Director, CPEC-IC, BOI Mr. Asim Ayub & the Consul Generals & Trade and Investment officers from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hong Kong(SAR) also attended the proceedings.

ISLAMABAD: The government on Monday hosted a marketing session for about 70 Chinese companies as it seeks to trigger the second phase — industrial development — of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

CPEC Authority (CPECA) chairman Khalid Mansoor briefed the chief executive officers and representatives of the Chinese companies on latest developments on the CPEC horizon, various business opportunities and incentives for investment.
