First Investment seminar organized by BOI on EV Policy & Automobile Sector was held at Expo 2020 in Dubai, on 05th October, 2021. Several auto companies participated in the event and MD Siemens Pakistan Mr. M. E. Strohmeier and Head of Mitsui Japan in Pakistan Mr. Yamashiro Shinsuke were keynote speakers. The Seminar was a successful feat in terms of showcasing the abundant investment opportunities available in Pakistan.  Mr. Jamil Ahmed Qureshi, Director General, Investment Promotion, highlights the investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Mrs. Fareena Mazhar, Federal Secretary, Board of Investment (BOI) meeting with H.E. Suh Sangpyo, Ambassador of Republic of Korea, on his visit at BOI, Islamabad on Friday, the 24th September, 2021, to discussed enhancing Korean investment in Pakistan. H.E. shared that several companies are interested in investing in Pakistan. 

Secretary BOI, Ms. Fareena Mazhar in meeting with a German delegation representing SIG Combibloc. The company conveyed their seriousness to invest in the SEZs of Pakistan and discussed the possible opportunities of starting business in the country.

Secretary BOI Ms. Fareena Mazhar  presented a letter of appreciation to Mr. Feroze Shah, Honorary Technical Advisor, BOI on being awarded “The Order of The Rising Sun, Gold Rays and Rosette” by government of Japan in recognition of his efforts for the promotion of economic relations between Pakistan and Japan.
