ISLAMABAD   -  President Dr Arif Alvi Saturday while welcoming the organizers of a two-day e-sports event in Islamabad, said the tournament would involve Pakistani youth and bring further investments in the country in future.

In his virtual message at the opening of the esports tournament organized by Galaxy Racer here, he said: “I am glad that the investment is taking place in the special technology zone and the fact that this investment is in the fastest growing industry of video gaming.”

ISLAMABAD  - The exports from the country during first half of current fi­nancial year witnessed about 24.71% growth as compared to the exports of the correspond­ing period of last year.

During the period from July-December, 2021, exports from the country were recorded at $15.102 billion as compared to exports of $12.110 billion of same period of last year (July-December 2020).

LAHORE: Pakistan accords top priority to the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Board of Investment (BoI) Chairman and State Minister Muhammad Azfar Ahsan said on Tuesday.

The development work on all SEZs is under way fast and three of the total nine SEZs, including Allama Iqbal Industrial City SEZ in Punjab, Rashakai SEZ in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Dhabeji SEZ in Sindh, will be completed soon, he said while speaking at the CPEC Industrial Cooperation B2B Investment Conference.

Speaking at the CPEC Industrial Cooperation B2B Investment Conference on Tuesday, the chairman invited businessmen from across the globe, particularly from China, to invest in diverse sectors of Pakistan’s economy. “Pakistan has a liberal investment regime,” he remarked.
