ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A distinguished 13-member Chinese business delegation visited the Board of Investment’s (BOI) Project Management Unit CPEC Industrial Cooperation Development Project (PMU-CPEC-ICDP) on Wednesday.

The delegation represented Chongqing Federation of Industry & Commerce, Chang Jiang Industrial Company (Pakistan) Co. Ltd, Li Ting International, and Yihai Culture Communication Co. Ltd.Chinese business delegation visits Board of Investment.

Dr. Sohail Rajput, Secretary Board of Investment, had a meeting with Mr. Zeeshan Sheikh, the Country Manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group (WBG) to discuss significant investments aimed at advancing  Pakistan's economic growth.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday announced the government’s plans to remove obstacles in the way of foreign direct investment in the country in a bid to boost its economic growth. 

KARACHI: Pakistan is eyeing investment opportunities in the Saudi and Middle Eastern markets in the Information Technology sector, caretaker minister for IT Dr. Umar Saif said on Thursday, hoping the sector’s exports could swell to about $10 billion in the short term.
