AS/EDG, Mr. Khashih ur Rehman, led a significant meeting at BOI's Lahore Office on Dec. 15, 2023, fostering regular interaction with Chinese companies. DG/PD (CPEC-IDP), Mr. Asim Ayub, was also present during the meeting.

Representatives from Chinese companies spanning the infrastructure, agriculture, logistics, and financial sectors engaged in a comprehensive discussion on the progress and challenges of ongoing projects in Pakistan.

The companies expressed gratitude for the consistent support and liaison provided by BOI’s PMU-CPEC-ICDP under the ambit of Pak-China Business & Investment Forum (PCBIF) which was established by BOI, APCEA and Chinese Embassy, highlighting the importance of these regular interactions. It was assured that BOI would actively address concerns by collaborating with relevant departments, ensuring swift resolutions for a seamless investment environment.
