The Cabinet Committee on Regulatory Reforms (CCoRR), chaired by Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for Investment, convened a meeting today to review third quarterly Regulatory Reform Package, prepared and submitted by the Board of Investment (BOI). This meeting marks another important step in the government’s comprehensive efforts to modernize Pakistan’s regulatory framework, in line with the directives of the Honorable Prime Minister.
MoU Signing Ceremony on Integration of Federal and Provincial Regulators with SECP Service Portal
The Board of Investment (BOI), Prime Minister’s Office, organized an MoU Signing Ceremony for the integration of Federal and Provincial Regulators with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) eService Portal. The event was chaired by the Federal Minister for Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, and attended by senior representatives from participating organizations.
FPCCI organized an interactive session on Economic Integration Between Pakistan & ASEAN Members Countries at FPCCI Capital House, Islamabad. Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh President FPCCI chaired the Seminar.
Federal Minister for Investment Mr. Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh graced the seminar as Chief Guest. Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain and, Ambassadors of Brunie Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam also attended the seminar.
H.E. HARERIMANA Fatou, Rwanda's High Commissioner to Pakistan accompanied by Lt Col Shyaka Kajugiro Ismail, the Defence Attaché, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for Investment.
The Minister thanked the visiting delegation and appreciated the role of Rwandan Leadership for recent economic development. Discussions also focused on strengthening bilateral investment ties and exploring new avenues of economic cooperation between the two nations.
