Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh Concluded Islamabad round of Pakistan–Australia Bilateral Investment Treaty Negotiations
The in-person round modernizing the 1998 Pakistan–Australia Bilateral Investment Treaty concluded today in Islamabad. Both delegations engaged in positive, professional, and constructive discussions in good faith covering the initial articles of the prospective modernized version of the treaty. The deliberations were marked by a spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding, reflecting the shared commitment of both sides to further strengthen bilateral investment relations.

Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, inaugurated the Pakistan Energy & Exhibition Conference 2025 (PEEC-2025) today in Islamabad, formally opening the exhibition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. During the event, the Minister addressed the media and emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s energy sector and promoting investment.
