MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company B.V. was established in 1999. The company holds an exploration area of around 8511 square kilometers in various operated and non-operated blocks, whereas it has 659 square kilometers acreage of Development and Production lease area. Till November 2020, MOL Pakistan has drilled 24 exploratory wells, 7 appraisal wells, and 17 development wells in its blocks. With an investment of USD 2.6 billion and a highly skilled workforce of over 1500 employees. MOL views Pakistan as a lucrative market and is therefore seeking to expand its operations beyond the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and is actively pursuing acquisitions of interest in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. MOL Group will play its part in the capacity building and the economic uplift of Pakistan.
