- Country Name
Pakistan is a country in southern Asia. It is next to India, Iran, Afghanistan, and China. It is officially called the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It has a long coastline along the Arabian Sea in the south. The name Pakistan means Land of (the) Pure in Urdu and Persian. Pakistan is the only country to have been created in the name of Islam.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a lawyer, politician, and the founder of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan’s independence on 14 August 1947, and then as Pakistan’s first Governor-General until his death. He is revered in Pakistan as Quaid-i-Azam (“Great Leader”) and Baba-i-Qaum ( “Father of the Nation”).

Previously he was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2007, and again from 2013 to 2018.
