Exchange control regulations of Pakistan not applicable.

  1. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Export Processing Zones Authority Ordinance, 1980 (IV of 1980), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt the Export Processing Zones from all the provisions of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (XXXIII of 1956), and the Banking Companies Ordinance, 1962 (LVII of 1962), except sections 7, 25A, 32, 40, 41 and 42 thereof.

  1. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Export Processing Zones Authority Ordinance, 1980 (IV of 1980), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt the Export Processing Zones established under the said Ordinance from the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Regulations Act, 1947 (VII of 1947).
